    The Roxbury Latin School seeks to appoint a Dean of Faculty (to begin August 2020) with significant teaching and administrative experience. A member of the school’s leadership team, the Dean is responsible for the recruitment and orientation of new faculty, as well as the professional development (both individual and collective) of the entire faculty. The Dean also teaches, contributes to the athletic or extracurricular life of the school, and serves as an advisor to students. Applicants from any discipline are welcome.

Starting in August 2020, the successful candidate will teach one or two sections of AP Economics as well as courses in history, math, science, or STEM-related areas.   • Penn Teaching Fellowships

    The Roxbury Latin School will appoint two Penn Teaching Fellows (starting in June) for the 2020-2021 school year in any of the following areas: Classics, English, History, Math, Modern Languages, Science, or STEM. The two-year program enables Fellows to earn an M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia while gaining experience at The Roxbury Latin School in Boston. With the guidance of faculty mentors, Penn Fellows teach one or two classes at Roxbury Latin and are involved in two seasons of coaching a team sport or the equivalent in advising an extracurricular activity. Fellows benefit from the coaching of a veteran teacher and a range of unique professional development experiences. They also participate in regular seminars dedicated to the exploration of critical issues in education. Learn more about the program here.
