Join fellow investor professionals and entrepreneurs for a presentation by Chris Zhu ’20 about the founding of his company Etched.AI. Chris co-founded Etched.AI in 2022 with Gavin Uberti to develop AI chips optimized for transformer models. Their flagship Sohu chip aims to outperform GPUs in efficiency and speed. In June 2024, Etched.AI raised $120 million from investors like Peter Thiel and Amjad Masad. Partnering with TSMC, they plan to begin production later this year.
