Jamie Morris-Kliment joined RL in 2013 and is Chair of the Classics Department. She serves as advisor to RL’s Classics Club chapter of the Mass Junior Classical League, RL’s Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and RL’s Model United Nations club. She also helps coach the Varsity Track & Field Team and is a member of the Community and Culture Committee. Before RL, she was head of the Modern and Classical Languages Department at Concord Academy. She holds a B.A. from Yale and M.A. from Boston University, and is currently in the 4th year of a PhD program at the University of Florida, Gainesville.

Rob Opdycke joined RL in 1999 as Director of Music. He is the conductor of the Glee Club, Latonics, and Junior Chorus, the music director for musical theater productions, and he assists with the Jazz Band. He is also a member of the Admission Committee, a coach of Fourth Baseball, and he serves as Assistant Class V Dean. He holds an A.B. from Harvard College.

Alex Pellegrini, Class of 2010, joined RL in 2022 as the Assistant Director of Admission and Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs. He is also a member of the Arts Department, a member of the Admission Committee, and coach of JV Baseball. By training, Alex is a graphic designer and runs his own company, Grayfield LLC. He holds a B.A. from University of Colorado, Boulder.

Matt Phillips joined RL in 2023 as a Penn Fellow, and following his two years in this role, joined the faculty full-time in the English, Arts, and Classics departments. He also continues to serve as the Director of Dramatics and Director of the Smith Theater. In addition, he is a member of the Admission Committee, a member of the Community and Culture Committee, and directs the school’s drama productions. He holds a B.A. from Georgetown University and an M.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently working toward an M.A. from the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English.

Carolyn Powell began working at RL in 2018. She had come to know the school as her husband, Robert, and her two sons, Robbie and Jake, are RL alumni. Carolyn is one of the first faces prospective students and families meet, serving as Assistant Director of Admission.  During her sons’ schooling, Carolyn and Robert were co-presidents of the Parents Auxiliary. Before joining RL full-time, Carolyn worked for over 30 years at THE BOSTON GLOBE, leading various advertising and digital advertising efforts in various roles, most recently as digital campaign manager.  She holds a degree from the University of Rhode Island.

Billy Quirk, Class of 2004, returned to RL in 2008 and serves today as Assistant Dean of Students and a member of the English Department. He also serves as Class V Dean and coaches Third Basketball and JV Baseball. He holds a B.A. from Georgetown University and M.A. from Middlebury College.

Mo Randall has been teaching and coaching at RL since 1976. He is a member of the English and Classic departments, serves as Assistant Dean to Class IV, is a member of the Admission Committee, and coaches Varsity and Third Football, as well as Varsity Hockey. He holds a B.A. from Harvard and M.A. from Dartmouth.

Darian Reid, RL Class of 2005, began teaching at RL in 2010. He is a member of the Classics Department and the Admission Committee, as well as coach of Junior Football and JV Basketball. He holds a B.A. from Bowdoin, M.A. from St. John’s, and M.Ed. from Columbia.

Meredith Reynolds is Co-Director of College Guidance and Assistant Dean to Class II. Prior to joining RL in 2018, she served as an Associate Director of Admission at Tufts University. She holds a B.A. from Tufts University. She is also a member of the Admission Committee and ISP committee.

Jim Ryan joined RL in 2009 as a member of the Modern Languages and Arts departments, where he teaches Spanish and Watercolor Painting. He is one of the faculty directors of Community Service, a member of the Admission Committee, one of the leaders on the Immersion Program in Spain, and coach of Fourth Basketball. Prior to RL, Jim, who is a native of Dorchester, taught at Phillips Exeter and Milton Academy. He holds a B.A. from Holy Cross and an M.A. from Boston College.
