Erin Berg joined RL as Director of External Relations in 2017. Erin’s role includes strategic communication planning, and execution of institutional communications and marketing for the school, including supporting enrollment and fundraising efforts. Prior to RL, Erin was the Chief Communication Officer at Milton Academy, where she held a variety of marketing and communications leadership positions over 12 years. Before that she served as a member of the undergraduate admission communication team at Boston University. Erin holds a B.A. in English and Communication from Villanova University and a master’s in marketing from Stonehill College.

Alec Bleday is the Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving and a faculty member of the Classics Department. He has worked in fundraising roles with The Pantry, Xaverian Brothers High School, the Celebrity Series of Boston, and the Salvation Army. He holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Babson. He also coaches Fourth Soccer and Varsity Track & Field.

Dave Cataruzolo is the Director of Alumni Affairs and Head Coach of Varsity Hockey and Baseball. He is also the director of the RL@Work program, a member of the Admission Committee and ISP committee, and one of the faculty advisors to student leadership. Prior to RL he was the Director of Hockey Operations at Harvard and an Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Head Men’s Ice Hockey Coach at Trinity College. He earned a B.A. from Bowdoin College and a M.A. from Trinity College.

Karen Dinon has been RL’s Director of Financial Aid since 2014. She holds a B.S. from Suffolk University. Before joining RL she worked as Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Suffolk; Associate Director of Financial Aid at Bentley; and in the Financial Aid Business Office at Gann Academy.

Jon Doerer joined RL in 2024 as a Penn Fellow, teaching in the Mathematics Department as he works toward his M.Ed. Jon holds a B.A. and M.A. from Notre Dame, where he was kicker for the football team for five years, and an M.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to RL, Jon worked in the North Carolina and Boston Public School systems. Jon is a member of the Admission Committee and coaches Varsity Football and JV Basketball. After completing two years as a Penn Fellow, Jon joined RL full-time as a faculty member in Mathematics and Health & Wellness. 

Ethan Faust ’13 joined the Classics department for the 2025-2026 academic year. Before returning to RL, he worked as a Penn Fellow and language arts teacher at the Gilman School in Baltimore. Before that, he was a Summer Session teaching intern at Northfield Mount Hermon. Ethan has been a freelance author since 2019 and is currently editing and seeking publishing deals for several of his books.

Alessandro Ferzoco ’14 returned to his Alma Mater in 2023 to serve as a member of the Development and Alumni Relations Office, where he is currently Director of the Annual Fund. During his time as an RL student, he was an editor of Tripod, a track and field team member, and a debate team member. He also established the first garden on campus. He was a well-respected student and was present on campus, as reflected in his being selected to deliver the kick-off dinner address in his senior year. He graduated from Harvard College in 2018 and worked as a researcher at the New England Historic Genealogical Society before his RL return.
