Every senior undertakes a project of his own devising in place of his regular academic courses.
Each plan must be approved by a small faculty committee, which reviews the project's feasibility and merits. The ISP directors and a faculty advisor with a special interest in the project work closely with the student during this phase. Fundamental to this process is the expectation that the boy plan a project of merit and interest. The faculty believes so strongly in the value of the Independent Senior Project program that successful completion of an ISP is a graduation requirement.
