ECOS

Taking as its motto “Think globally, act locally,” Roxbury Latin’s Environmentally Concerned Organization of Students (ECOS), organized in 1990, has concentrated its efforts on raising community awareness of environmental issues, and on the collection and recycling of paper, cans, bottles, magazines, newspapers, and cardboard generated at the School. The School recycles approximately 2,500 pounds of paper each year, saving trees and landfill space.
