William Landay's Defending Jacob is NYT best seller

Defending Jacob, by William Landay ’81, hit #3 on the NYT Best Sellers list and was recently reviewed by the New York Times.

A story about an assistant district attorney whose life is shaken when his 14-year-old son is accused of murder, the title joins Landay's other novels, Mission Flats, which earned him a 2003 Dagger Award for best debut crime novel, and The Strangler, chosen as an LA Times favorite and nominated for a Strand Magazine Critics Award as best crime novel in 2007.
